Mobile Deposit Capture allows customers to deposit checks via our mobile app. Customers must maintain all accounts in good standing. Customers must adhere to the terms and conditions to continue use; the bank reserves the right to revoke a customer's access to MDC any time misuse is determined.
Mobile Deposit Capture Requirements
- Must be an online banking customer
- Customer must be enrolled for mobile banking
- Customer must have had a deposit account relationship for at least 90 days
- Customer must not have been overdrawn more than 3 days in the past 90 days and no more than 6 days overdrawn in the past 12 months
- Customer should not have any chargebacks in the last 90 days and no more than 3 in the past 12 months
Cut Off Time for Mobile Deposit
- Mobile Deposits made before 3:30 pm post same day
- Mobile Deposits made after 3:30 pm post next day
Check Endorsement Requirements
- Items must be endorsed with "For Mobile Deposit Only" followed by the account number and customer's signature
- A check that is payable to two payees must be endorsed by both payees
- The item may NOT be a third-party check, stale-dated, post-dated, or altered
Original Check Retention
- Securely store each original check(s) for a period of 14 days after transmission; after the 14 days has passed destroy the original check(s)
